Please join Heart of America Indian Center for our annual
celebration of Kansas City's American Indian heritage. A powwow is a
contemporary American Indian gathering featuring traditional dances and
songs. Our annual powwow offers both social dancing,"intertribal
dances,” in which anyone may participate, along with contest dancing
for money or prizes. Enjoy a variety of American Indian food and shop
at our Native American vendors for Fine Arts, Books, Music, Craft
Supplies, and much much more.
